Privacy policy.
This policy explains what TIDE-WIRE Web Development collects through tide-wire.com, why, and the choices you have. Effective October 5, 2026.
What we collect
- Contact and quote forms: your name, email, optional phone number, business name, budget range and message.
- Pricing tool: your business name, phone number, email and the options you choose, sent to us when your price is shown.
- Support tickets: your business name, name, email, phone, website address, urgency and a description of the issue.
- Chat assistant: the questions you type into the chat box. They are sent to an AI service to write the reply and are not saved by us. Please don't type passwords, payment details or other sensitive information into it.
- Website analytics: pages viewed, the buttons and links you use (such as tapping our phone number), your approximate location (city level), device and browser type, and the site that referred you.
- Server logs: our hosting provider records IP addresses and request details to keep the site secure and running.
How we use it
- To reply to your message, prepare a quote and deliver the services you ask for.
- To open, track and resolve support tickets.
- To understand which pages are useful and improve the website.
- We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising profiles.
Cookies and analytics
- Google Analytics 4 sets cookies to measure visits and the actions listed above. You can block it with your browser's privacy settings or Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics measures page views without cookies and without tracking you across sites.
- The site works normally with cookies and analytics blocked.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that run this website for us: Netlify (hosting and form storage), Google (analytics and our business email), Cloudflare (analytics) and Anthropic (the AI service behind the chat assistant). They process information on our behalf.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
- No one else.
How long we keep it
- Messages and tickets are kept for as long as we work together and as needed for our business records.
- Ask us to delete your information at any time and we will, unless we are required to keep it.
Your choices
- Ask what information we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted.
- Children: this website is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13.
